Eastlake's 2007 Volunteer of the Year!

I have been involved as a parent in Eastlake Youth Football and Cheer for six seasons now. I currently have a Midget Cheerleader, a Pee Wee Cheerleader, and a future flag football player. With my husband, Lee, teaching and coaching at EHS, football is definitely a big part of life at our house! In my life outside of football, I am a Sales Director with The Pampered Chef. I am also involved in a number of activities through my church, New Hope Community Church, including working as the coodinator for our Acts of Kindness Ministry. Before all of this, I was a special education teacher for San Diego City Schools, and I guess that's one reason that I enjoy my involvement with EBYFC. I really like being around the kids, and I enjoy being part of an organization for them. Youth sports have so many benefits for our kids. Seeing everything that my girls have gotten from being Lady Panthers, I'm happy to try and help this organization be all that it can be for all of the kids in our community. I'd encourage anyone to increase their involvement in our association... you'll be amazed at what you'll get by giving more.
